On June 22, 2026, a coach coming from Luxembourg was subjected to a check by the Federal Police on the A8 motorway near the Moseltal rest area at around 8:15 a.m. During this, a Romanian woman was identified who was wanted on two warrants. On the one hand, there was an arrest warrant for the woman due to attempted aggravated robbery committed jointly, for which she still had 503 days of the originally imposed two years and nine months imprisonment to serve. On the other hand, a 32-year-old entry ban was imposed on her, as she first entered the federal territory in 2020 and subsequently appeared several times in connection with criminal offenses. For this reason, in 2024, her EU freedom of movement rights were revoked, and deportation to Romania was carried out in the same year while she was in custody. Due to the existing warrants, the Romanian woman was searched, during which cash amounting to 230 British pounds, four wristwatches, and two high-value mobile phones were found. This indicates that the woman is still active in the criminal milieu. At least for a transitional period, her journey in this regard is now interrupted, as upon completion of all measures, she was taken to Zweibrücken prison to serve the remaining 503 days of her sentence.
