Werner Lampel celebrates 40th deacon anniversary in Oberwürzbach
On June 22, 1986, Werner Lampel was ordained as a deacon. For 40 years now, Werner Lampel has served as a deacon in the Herz Jesu parish in Oberwürzbach. Pastor Alexander Klein thanked the jubilarian in a festive service for his blessed work in the community. With great commitment and deep Christian faith, he has undertaken his duties in the service of God and in the service of others, thus reliably supporting the local pastoral team. He also thanked his wife Sonja, who has always accompanied her husband benevolently in fulfilling his duties. Although officially retired since 2019, Werner Lampel still gladly assists in the community. Many citizens celebrated the festive service together with Pastor Klein, Pastor Koch, and the jubilarian as a sign of gratitude. During the subsequent reception in the renovated lower church, local head Dunja Sauer also thanked the jubilarian for his long-standing service as a deacon. He has stood by the people in the community in various life situations: at joyful occasions as well as in times of concern and farewell. The chairwoman of the parish council, Christiane Morlo, also thanked Werner Lampel for his work and cooperation within the parish community. The anniversary was then celebrated together with a reception and refreshments.
