23.06.2026 City of Völklingen – Press Release No. 106/2026 Recycling Center: Changed Opening Hours This Week Due to the high temperatures announced for this week, the recycling center of the mid-sized city of Völklingen in the Gewerbepark Ost in Völklingen-Fürstenhausen will temporarily have changed opening hours. On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, the recycling center will be open from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. By adjusting the opening hours, the city is responding to the expected high temperatures and taking into account the health protection of the employees as well as the visitors. From next week onward, the recycling center will be open again during regular opening hours.
