In the early morning hours of June 21, 2026, between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, a traffic accident occurred in Nonnweiler, in the Schwarzenbach district, on "Gartenstraße" street, where an as yet unknown vehicle severely damaged a vehicle parked on the right side of the road.
According to initial investigations, the vehicle causing the accident could be assigned to a specific vehicle category, which with one of its tires struck the parked vehicle at the right front corner. As a result of this impact, part of the vehicle's front as well as the entire right side of the vehicle were deformed by the tire and thus severely damaged.
The police request the residents of the Nonnweiler-Schwarzenbach area or the municipality of Nonnweiler to provide further information to help clarify the crime and to enable compensation for the victim. Tips can be given to the Nordsaarland Police Inspectorate in Wadern via the following contacts:
