Statement by Frank Wagner, Secretary General of the CDU Saar, on the new allegations against the Lord Mayor of Neunkirchen, Aumann, regarding VIP football tickets:
“The mayor of Neunkirchen, Aumann, apparently has learned nothing from the scandals of recent months. Despite the massive allegations in the NVG scandal, he continues as if nothing ever happened. Now the impression arises that this system of self-service is even spreading to other institutions. That Aumann, as deputy chairman of the administrative board of the Sparkasse Neunkirchen, is said to have personally demanded VIP tickets for the box area of SV Elversberg is a new low – and hardly compatible with common compliance rules.”
