On June 19, 2026, at around 3:30 PM in Illingen in the area of Kerpenstraße, a confrontation occurred between two women and a 77-year-old man. Both women had previously gone from house to house, persistently requesting, presumably for donations, and behaving suspiciously. After they were perceived by the 77-year-old, who was at a door, as acting suspiciously, he confronted them about the situation. According to current investigations, the women then pushed the man to the ground and fled the scene. The man sustained severe head injuries from the fall and succumbed to them today. The investigations have been taken up by the criminal police.
