Summer Holiday Program 2026 Just a few more days until it’s time – then the summer holidays begin! Those who want to make the most of them are exactly right with the community’s holiday program: Once again this year, the community of Quierschied and the JuZ Quierschied of the Regionalverband Saarbrücken have put together a colorful and varied holiday program for children and young people from Quierschied, Fischbach-Camphausen, and Göttelborn. Whether it’s outdoor adventures, creative activities, or action-packed trips – the 2026 program has something for every taste. The highlight this year is certainly the day trip to the Miramar adventure pool in Weinheim, where participants can enjoy a huge world of slides, a wave pool, a jungle bay, and whirlpools. Those who prefer to go high up are right at the Adventure Park Saar – there, with trained guides, they can tackle various climbing courses. Nature lovers will enjoy the bat walk with conservation officer Stefan Kees at Kohlbachweiher, and on the canoe tour through the idyllic Wiltinger Saarbogen, an unforgettable paddling experience awaits both beginners and advanced paddlers. For those who prefer to be creative, there is pizza baking, a papier-mâché workshop, or a graffiti day in front of the Q.lisse to bring their ideas to life. And in archery with the Holzer Archery Guild, every Wednesday during the holidays it’s all about nocking the arrow, aiming, hitting the target – and feeling like Robin Hood. Register now!
