Nationwide day of action "Municipalities at the Limit": The city of St. Ingbert sets a sign for capable municipalities on Monday

On Monday, June 22, 2026, cities, municipalities, and districts across the country are participating in the action day "Communities at their Limits." Through joint actions, the communities draw attention to their increasingly strained financial situation and demand adequate funding of municipal tasks by the federal and state governments.

St. Ingbert is also participating in the day of action and will highlight the dire situation at public buildings and facilities.

Several buildings will be equipped with black/yellow barrier tape and posters to raise awareness of the situation. Corresponding notices are displayed on all Ingo buses, and the action day is also promoted through the city's communication channels. The city construction fence banners also point to the action day.

Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer invites the employees of the city administration to a staff meeting.

Despite the day of action, there will be no restrictions on municipal services.
