On June 18, 2026, at around 3:40 PM, a traffic accident occurred on Luisenthaler Straße heading towards Völklingen involving a motorcyclist and a car. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Saarbrücken, while the car driver remained uninjured. Traffic was temporarily diverted for the duration of the accident investigation.
Witnesses of the traffic accident are asked to contact the Saarbrücken-Burbach police station (0681 / 9715-0).
