The Ministry of Social Affairs is hosting the InkluSaar Summer Festival on June 20th right in the middle of the Special Olympics Festival. On the Saar meadows below the State Theatre, a colorful mix of games, fun, and movement will provide entertainment for young and old from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“The InkluSaar Summer Festival is a lively symbol of lived inclusion every year – a place where all people are welcome regardless of individual abilities, background, age, or gender. The aim is to break down barriers, facilitate encounters, and promote better mutual understanding. With this goal, it fits perfectly into the Special Olympics National Games 2026 in Saarland,” emphasizes Social Minister Magnus Jung.
On the festival Saturday, the existing festival offerings will be expanded by around 50 InkluSaar exhibitors with information and interactive activities. Organizations from the fields of social affairs, education, and health present their inclusive projects and invite visitors to engage in exchange. On the stage at Saarwiese, various inclusive dance groups and choirs showcase their talents.
