The Ministry of Social Affairs is bringing the InkluSaar Summer Festival right into the Special Olympics Festival on June 20th. On the Saar meadows below the State Theatre, a colorful mix of games, fun, and exercise will provide entertainment for young and old from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
„The InkluSaar Summer Festival is a living symbol of practiced inclusion every year – a place where all people are welcome regardless of individual abilities, background, age, or gender. The goal is to break down barriers, enable encounters, and promote better mutual understanding. With this objective, it fits perfectly into the Special Olympics National Games 2026 in Saarland this year,“ emphasizes Social Minister Magnus Jung.
On festival Saturday, the existing festival offerings will be expanded by around 50 InkluSaar exhibitors with information and interactive opportunities. Organizations from the social, education, and health sectors will present their inclusive projects and invite visitors to engage in exchange. On the stage at Saarwiese, various inclusive dance groups and choirs will showcase their talents.
Information for media representatives: State Secretary Bettina Altesleben will be on the festival grounds from around 11:30 AM, Minister Magnus Jung from around 5:00 PM.
