New central phone number for the call-line taxi
The Saarpfalz district is standardizing the telephone booking system for all call-line taxis (ALT) within the district area.
As of July 1st, the number for the previously directly booked ALT lines 546 (Homburg – Lappentascherhof – Kleinottweiler), 548 (Bexbach – Kleinottweiler), and 566 (Bexbach – Frankenholz – Münchwies) through the taxi service provider will be adjusted to the existing district-wide standard. With the switch to the central phone number 06841 104-7252, the booking system will be uniformly regulated throughout the entire district from the effective date. For passengers, nothing changes except for the phone number used to book rides. Incoming calls to the central number are answered by a telephone switchboard available daily. The staff coordinate the bookings and forward the ride requests directly to the respective taxi companies. This procedure is already being practiced in the rest of the district and is now being extended to the aforementioned lines.
The usual lead time of 60 minutes before departure for registering the respective ALT trips remains in effect. Bookings can be accepted up to 14 days in advance. The Saarpfalz district asks passengers of the affected lines to use only the central phone number starting from July 1st.
