Entry in the Golden Book of the City of St. Ingbert: Katharina Thalbach as Guest at the Federal Festival of Young Film

As part of the Federal Festival of Young Film, the renowned actress, director, as well as audiobook and dubbing artist Katharina Thalbach signed the Golden Book of St. Ingbert over the weekend.

The event took place in the context of the Federal Festival of Young Film, the largest short film festival for German-speaking emerging talents, which annually presents the best short film productions of the year and brings together young talents from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The entry was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor for Culture of the city of St. Ingbert, Albrecht Hauck, as well as by the festival management with Fabian Roschy and Jörn Michaely.

The entry in the Golden Book honors Katharina Thalbach's exceptional artistic life achievements as well as her close connection to the German film and cultural landscape. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of the Federal Festival of Young Film for the promotion of cultural Nachwuchs in the region and beyond.

In recent years, the festival has become a permanent fixture in the city's cultural calendar and sends a strong signal for creative diversity, cultural education, and the promotion of young filmmakers.
