Between 11:36 PM on June 14, 2026, and 7:15 AM on June 15, 2026, there was a break-in at the fire station of the St. Ingbert Volunteer Fire Department on Kohlenstraße. Unknown perpetrators forcibly gained access to the building and stole power tools from the fire department’s emergency vehicles. Damages amounted to a five-figure sum.
