Merchweiler. The carnival society "Mir senn do" Merchweiler elected a new board during their general meeting on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The meeting took place at the clubhouse of SV Preußen Merchweiler.
Thomas Franz was elected as the new 1st Chairman. Stefanie Thiel takes over the office of 2nd Chairwoman. Christiane Braun was confirmed as 1st Treasurer, supported by Stefan Werth as 2nd Treasurer. Joshua Rodener will assume the duties of 1st Secretary in the future, while Sabine Daniel was elected as 2nd Secretary.
At the top of the carnival program remains Carsten Boeckmann as the 1st session president. He is supported by Werner Reiber as vice session president. Alexandra Drießler was elected as the auditor.
The board is completed by the assessors Harald Braun, Christine Dörr, Simone Figas-Hein, Katharina Hein, Mariella Houy, and Sabine Staub.
During the meeting, the Carnival Society also thanked the previous 1st Secretary Annalena Braun for her commitment and dedication over the past years. The members and the board wished her all the best and continued success for her future work with the VSK Youth.
With the new election of the board, the KG "Mir senn do" sets the course for upcoming tasks and the preparation of future carnival events in Merchweiler.
