St. Ingberter Pfanne 2026: The competition program is set!
The preparations for the St. Ingberter Pfanne 2026 are already in full swing: The jury of the renowned small arts competition has set the program for this year's edition. The audience can look forward to a participant lineup that is both diverse and high-caliber. From cabaret and satire to musical cabaret and death comedy, and even poetry slam, the competition once again offers a varied mix of different genres and artistic expressions this year.
The opening of the first competition day on September 5th is shaped by AnnPhie Fritz with sharp wit, a feminist perspective, and pointed observations of everyday life. Her comedy combines humor and attitude in an equally clever and entertaining way. Following her, André Herrmann presents his cabaret with pace, linguistic precision, and spot-on punchlines, blending personal stories with a humorous view of society and politics. The evening concludes with the Heidelberg a cappella band NOICE, who bring their program "Echoes of Emotion" to the stage with modern arrangements, strong voices, and lots of energy.
On Sunday, September 6th, Die Grabowski will kick off the second day of the competition. They combine pitch-black humor with musical talent and quirky stories from the world of gravediggers. Following them, the German-Swiss duo Hart auf Hart tells of everyday misunderstandings with linguistic precision and subtle satire, painting a poetically playful picture of human relationships. The evening closes with Pam Pengco, who challenges stereotypes with fast, direct stand-up, a clear stance, and rapid-fire delivery, telling pointed stories about everyday life, dating, and body image.
The third day of the competition on Tuesday, September 8th, begins with Stefan Unser, who sharply reflects on being human, education, and everyday absurdities through poetry slam texts and stand-up elements. Afterwards, Samuel Kilian combines musical comedy with analytical sharpness in his program “What loves each other, likes each other” and humorously dissects digital dating. The evening concludes with Gregor Pallast, who pointedly comments on politics, media, and social developments with sharp satire and a clear stance.
On Wednesday, September 9th, Death dedicates his program „Gevatter Unser“ to the big questions between this world and the beyond, combining black humor with music and improvisation for a macabre yet joyful evening on stage. Afterwards, Inka Meyer dissects modern everyday life in „Zurück in die Zugluft“ with sharp wit and keen observation, exploring themes of self-optimization, constant stress, and the search for meaning. The final competition evening concludes with Nils Brunschede presenting cabaret chansons about love, dating, and family, blending humor, romance, and musical storytelling.
After four exciting days of competition, the award ceremony for the 41st St. Ingberter Pfanne will be celebrated on Friday, September 11, starting at 7 p.m. The winners will present their programs once again and will be duly honored.
All events start at 7 p.m. in the industrial cathedral of the Alte Schmelz. The advance sale for subscriptions begins on July 6, 2026, and single tickets are available from August 3, 2026.
