Angelika Hießerich-Peter, the state chairwoman of the FDP Saar, has been re-elected to the federal executive board of the Free Democrats at the federal party conference.
In her campaign speech, Hießerich-Peter focused particularly on the topics of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the federal chairwoman of the "Liberal Middle Class," entrepreneurial freedom was at the center. She sharply criticized the SPD, whose co-chairs are more focused on class struggle than on an economic policy with foresight and job creation.
For Hießerich-Peter, it is also time for entrepreneurship to be taught as a potential way of life in education. Achievement must once again correlate with the promise of advancement in a liberal society.
In the subsequent vote, Angelika Hießerich-Peter was elected to the federal executive committee of the FDP with around seventy percent of the votes.
