Good day,
Enclosed you will find a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
MySt. Ingbert Digital: City launches information campaign on online services
Many matters at the town hall can now be conveniently handled from home or on the go. To raise awareness among citizens about these options, the city of St. Ingbert is launching the information campaign "MySt. Ingbert Digital." The focus is on the city's online services and their concrete benefits: fewer trips, more flexibility, and easy access to municipal services.
The campaign is now visible with striking motifs on construction fence banners throughout the city and will be expanded in the coming weeks. Flyers with information about the service portal and individual online services will be available at the citizen service center, in shops, and in public institutions. Additionally, the motifs will appear on posters and the city's digital channels. More information can be found at:

“Our goal is to show citizens how many services to the town hall are already possible digitally today. Those who can handle their concerns online save time and are not bound by office hours,” explains Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer. “At the same time, personal consultation at the town hall, by phone, or on-site will of course continue to be available. Digitalization is an additional offer – not a replacement for direct contact.”
The service portal of the city of St. Ingbert consolidates numerous services, forms, and information in one central location. Whether application, registration, or inquiry: many procedures can be digitally prepared or completed entirely online – such as the online reservation of desired license plates, the application for certificates, dog registration, or the application for a certificate of conduct. This is especially convenient for everyone who wants to avoid trips and waiting times or does not want to be bound by opening hours.
“With ‚MeinSt. Ingbert Digital‘, we want to raise awareness of the city's online services and reduce barriers. Many matters can already be handled simply, securely, and independently of opening hours online today. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for the citizens to get started,” explains Sven Oberinger, Chief Information Officer of the city of St. Ingbert.
The campaign relies on clear, memorable motifs that pique curiosity and invite people to try them out. Only employees of the town hall are shown. This gives the campaign a personal touch and also demonstrates: Behind the online services, there are still people who handle and support the concerns of the citizens.
A great opportunity to get to know the digital services personally is offered by the nationwide Digital Day on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., citizens are cordially invited to come to the town hall. The city presents its digital services on site and provides practical assistance. Anyone with questions about the service portal, online applications, or digital access such as the BundID can get information directly. The Digital Day is explicitly aimed at people who have little experience with digital administrative services or who would like support in using them.
Those who want to combine a visit to the town hall with a stroll through the weekly market at the marketplace can easily do both on this morning.
With "MeinSt. Ingbert Digital," the city aims to facilitate access to digital administration. The message of the campaign is: The digital town hall is already here – simple, practical, and an additional service for all citizens.
