The city of Völklingen has a new senior advisory board. After the appointment of members by the city council factions, local councils, welfare and social organizations, as well as other involved actors, the city council officially confirmed the members of the committee in its meeting on March 26, 2026.
On April 27, 2026, the inaugural meeting took place. During this meeting, the members of the senior advisory board elected a board:

Deputy Chairman: Mr. Harald Spey
Secretary: Ms. Sorina Milkovic
