Day ofChild Day Care
"The village children" open their doors
With lots of warmth, colorful play options, and a family-like atmosphere, the daycare center "Die Dorfkinder" invited to the nationwide Daycare Action Day.
Child day care is a legally recognized form of care in a family-like environment and is considered an equivalent care option to institutional care in nurseries. It enables individual and flexible care for children from eight weeks to the age of three. This allows parents to freely choose whether to have their child cared for at a child day care center, as offered by the "Dorfinders," or in a nursery.
For almost two years, children up to the age of three have been lovingly cared for at "Die Dorfkinder." The daycare facility operates as a large daycare group – meaning that care is usually provided jointly by two daycare providers. Anna Singendonk, a qualified daycare provider currently on parental leave, and Nicole Berwanger, an educator and qualified daycare provider, place special emphasis on individual and family-oriented care. The love for detail and the creation of a friendly and open environment is evident as soon as you enter the premises. Bright rooms, warmly furnished play areas, and a spacious movement room invite children to explore, play, and learn. An important part of daily education is also spending time outdoors. "We regularly go outside with the children to explore nature and village life together," report the daycare providers. The rural surroundings offer ideal conditions for this. Nutrition holds a high priority at "Die Dorfkinder": the children can look forward to a varied and diverse menu with fresh, child-appropriate meals. Balance and shared mealtime moments are also important.
The action day had a special conclusion in the afternoon. The child daycare center, together with the specialist advisors for child daycare of the Saarpfalz district, took part in the "Schutzengellauf" in Blieskastel-Lautzkirchen. By participating in the charity event, the participants wanted not only to show community spirit but also to support a good cause. This rounded off the action day in a special way.
The daycare center continues to welcome new inquiries from families in the region who are looking for a care place for their little ones in a manageable and personal environment.
