Saarpfalz district at the Inclusion City Festival in Homburg
Participation and counseling services from the Youth and Health Department
The Youth Welfare Office and Health Department of the Saarpfalz district will provide information about their counseling services at the City Festival of Inclusion on June 13. Employees from the Early Support, Social Psychiatric Service, Climate & Health, Youth Welfare Office, and Procedural Facilitators divisions will be available at the information booths on Talstraße opposite Christian-Weber-Platz for questions and personal conversations. Visitors can obtain information about the various support services of the Saarpfalz district and receive individual advice there. Additionally, various interactive activities invite people to engage in conversation with one another.
This allows small fabric bags from fair trade to be creatively designed. With a colorful fingerprint on a Saarland map in the design of the Special Olympics National Games Saarland, visitors set a visible sign of their participation. In addition, a tactile box with different materials offers the opportunity to discover various sensory impressions. For children, a movement course and the crafting of UV bead bracelets are on the program. Adults are invited to engage playfully with the topic of mental health. The movement course was supported by an internal fundraising campaign within the district administration. Employees donated Bobby cars for this purpose, which are now being used at the city festival.
The Saarpfalz district looks forward to many visitors as well as a lively exchange on the topics of participation, inclusion, and support in everyday life.
