Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
Theater fun 2026: Theater, music and Christmas magic for the whole family
With a varied program, the Theater Fun series of the city of St. Ingbert continues its success story in the second half of 2026. Whether classic puppet theater, musical Christmas productions, or atmospheric fairy tale performances – children, teenagers, and families can look forward to entertaining and inspiring cultural experiences.
The opening act takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Kulturhaus Rentrisch with the puppet theater play "The Robber Hotzenplotz" based on the popular story by Otfried Preußler. The puppeteers from Koblenz bring the adventure of Kasper, Seppel, and the feared robber Hotzenplotz to the stage using hand and rod puppets. After Hotzenplotz steals the grandmother’s coffee grinder, Kasper and Seppel devise a clever plan to catch the robber. But the two themselves get into trouble and soon find themselves in a turbulent mix-up with the wizard Petrosilius Zwackelmann.
An exciting and humorous theater experience for fans of Kasper and robbers from the age of five.
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 3 pm, the Christmas fairy tale "Die Sterntaler" based on the Brothers Grimm will be performed at the Kulturhaus Rentrisch. Actress and musician Doris Friedmann tells the touching story of the Sterntalermädchen in a lovingly staged blend of storytelling theater and live music. With few props and great enthusiasm, she brings numerous characters to life and invites the audience to sing along to well-known Christmas carols. The story about compassion, helpfulness, and the joy of giving sets the mood for the Advent season for both children and adults alike. Recommended for the whole family and children from four years old.
To close the year, the Liedertheater Eddi Zauberfinger will be a guest with its Advent program "In Search of the Christ Child." The performances will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 11 a.m., and on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Kulturhaus Rentrisch. As part of his anniversary tour "35 Years of Hits for Clever Kids," Dennis W. Ebert takes his audience on a musical Christmas journey. Together with the children, he sets off in search of the Christ Child – in outer space, at the circus, with the bees, and even with the dinosaurs. With lots of music, movement, and interactive activities, an interactive experience is created in which the children themselves become part of the story. Suitable for everyone aged four and older.
In addition to the theater fun program, the Albertus Magnus Gymnasium invites you on
On October 28 and 29, 2026, each at 7:30 pm, the Stadthalle St. Ingbert will host the “Alberts Moments Gala 2026.” On the occasion of its 135th anniversary, students, teachers, and parents will together present a varied stage program with music, dance, and theater. Since the 130th anniversary in 2021 could not be celebrated, a festive evening full of memories, surprises, and special moments will now be made up for. Two extraordinary gala evenings promise top entertainment and at the same time offer a creative insight into the school life of the Albertus Magnus Gymnasium.
School patron Albertus Magnus will also play a role in this.
