Art meets energy supply: Substation in Rohrbach becomes an eye-catcher

The transformer station in Rohrbach has received a new appearance: the artist Felix Dörrenbecher creatively designed the station on behalf of Stadtwerke St. Ingbert GmbH, thereby adding a special touch to the local landscape. With the vibrant artwork, technical infrastructure is visibly enhanced while simultaneously promoting art in public spaces.

The impressive design addresses themes such as community, home, and future, making the transformer station a real eye-catcher.

Jürgen Bach explains: "With the artistic design of our transformer station, we want to show that energy supply and quality of life belong together. Such projects enhance the appearance of the locality and create identification."

Local head Mr. Biedermann adds:

“The newly designed transformer station sets a special accent in the public space and shows a creative way to integrate technical installations into the townscape.”
