Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
The ASB visited the Luitpold daycare center with the ambulance
Blue lights, exciting insights, and plenty of curiosity: At the Luitpold daycare center, everything revolved around the topic of first aid. Together with the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), the children experienced a special morning all about rescue and help in emergencies.
A real highlight was the ambulance that stopped right in front of the daycare center. The children were allowed to explore the vehicle up close, ask questions, and even take a look inside the ambulance. Dennis from the ASB explained in a child-friendly way how people are helped in emergencies and what tasks paramedics perform.
In a playful way, the children also learned important basics of first aid: How do you make an emergency call? What to do in case of minor injuries? And why is helping so important?
The children participated with great enthusiasm, amazement, and strong interest. The visit from the ASB was not only exciting and varied but also conveyed to the children, in a sensitive way, how important mutual help and responsibility are.
