The nationwide "Day of Neighbors" brings together people from different cultures
and groups. On June 5th, 2026, the district management of
the city of Völklingen, the district forum "Northern Inner City," and the youth migration
service in the Diakonie neighborhood will host a social gathering as part of the nationwide "Day of Neighbors"
in the Intercultural Neighborhood Garden (Poststraße 50). From 3 to 6 pm, everyone interested from the neighborhood and all over
Völklingen is warmly invited to spend a good time together. With delicious cakes, various dishes, as well as warm and cold drinks,
a pleasant afternoon can be enjoyed. During plenty of nice conversations, new
contacts can be made and existing acquaintances can be nurtured. Food and drinks will be provided.
We also appreciate any food brought along. The district management of the city of Völklingen, the district forum "Northern Inner City,"
