Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
The "SR 3 Market Day" kicks off on May 30th in St. Ingbert
The "SR 3 Market Day" takes the program "SR 3 in the Morning" to where real life happens: at weekly markets, fairgrounds, and right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. To kick off, SR 3 will be at the weekly market in St. Ingbert on Saturday, May 30th.
And of course, the market traders from St. Ingbert will not miss the opportunity to treat their customers especially well this Saturday and surprise them with small amuse-bouches. On this Saturday morning, visitors can sample their way through the market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: whether antipasti, olive-feta cream, crêpes made according to an original French recipe, honey and Greek olive oil, fruit skewers, pumpernickel sandwiches with organic meat specialties, fruit spreads, mushroom pesto, beef mettwürste and Viennese sausages, as well as an interesting pepper tasting… no culinary wishes will be left unfulfilled here.
Torsten Becker from St. Ingbert with his Highlanders from the Rohrbachtal offers hearty burgers, sausages, meatloaf, and Becker beer at his stand. Ayleen Hunsicker from Hof Hochscheid has delicious salads and homemade lemonade on offer. At the St. Ingbert restaurateur Jérôme Bour, who is also represented at the market, you can buy homemade French pralines and wine, which, of course, can also be enjoyed on site. A wild game grill stand with wild boar sausages, pulled wild boar, coleslaw, and vegetarian grilled cheese rounds off the culinary selection on this Saturday morning.
Seating areas and standing tables in the peripheral areas of the marketplace invite you to linger and engage in conversation with others.
Of course, the florists also take part in this extraordinary market day: they give away roses to customers. Also on offer are unusual decorative wreaths, for example made from shells or cork.
And for the best entertainment, SR 3 provides: From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the hosts and reporters together with reporter Freaky Jörn broadcast live among market stalls, the scent of coffee, and everyday stories.
What does it create? Genuine Saarland radio: spontaneous, lively, and directly from life. Visitors can watch, join in the conversation, laugh – and even become part of the program themselves.
So, be sure to stop by and have fun!
