Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
Ingobertus Festival 2026: St. Ingbert celebrates summer with music, cuisine, and family activities
On Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th, 2026, the city center of St. Ingbert will once again become a meeting place for enjoyment, socializing, and live music. For the 47th time, the traditional Ingobertus Festival invites visitors to experience two varied days in the heart of the city.
With a diverse program, culinary highlights, and music on multiple stages, the city festival offers the best entertainment for all generations again this year. Several thousand guests are expected to celebrate and enjoy together outdoors.
Over 80 booth operators offer visitors a diverse selection of food and refreshing drinks. In addition to the popular offerings from the clubs and gastronomy businesses of St. Ingbert, guests can look forward to international specialties – including Hungarian langos, Filipino, African, and Thai cuisine, as well as Italian Pinsa Romana. The selection is complemented by hearty classics such as burgers, flank steaks, hot dogs, and specialties from Saarland cuisine. Those with a sweet tooth will also get their money's worth: churros, bubble waffles, and chocolate-covered fruits provide sweet moments of indulgence.
Of course, the city festival also has a lot to offer musically. The Unplugged Stage is once again located this year on Kaiserstraße at the height of Olk Passage, providing a relaxed atmosphere with handcrafted music performed by a small ensemble. At Maxplatz, regional artists create atmospheric musical moments with rocking and bluesy live performances in a cozy setting. In the area around the stage in Sumpe, guests can enjoy a colorful program featuring reggae rock, the biggest hits from the 80s, as well as a mix of rock, pop, and party music. Culinary classics and the popular "Wine Street" of the partner cities Saint Herblain, Radebeul, and Rhodt under Rietburg complete the offerings in this area.
The rock stage of the Rockförderverein St. Ingbert e.V. at the Schmelzer parking lot is once again an integral part of the city festival. Fans of the regional rock scene can look forward to energetic performances and an authentic festival atmosphere. The musical program is also complemented there by beverage stands and delicious treats.
A special highlight for families is the children's festival on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Schmelzer parking lot. With bouncy castles, interactive activities, craft offers, and many other attractions, a varied experience area is created for the youngest visitors.
The Ingobertus Festival will once again invite everyone in 2026 to spend unforgettable hours together in the city center of St. Ingbert. The city of St. Ingbert as well as all involved look forward to numerous guests and a successful festival weekend.
