Good day,

„Biosphere meets city“ – Discovery tour through St. Ingbert
How can urban life, nature, and history be connected? Answers to this question are provided by the special tour "Biosphere Meets City" on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in St. Ingbert.
Together with tour guide Andreas Schröder, the participants will embark on a varied tour through the city starting at 3:00 PM. This offers a special perspective on St. Ingbert as part of the Bliesgau Biosphere, where urban areas, green spaces, and historical sites are closely interconnected.
Stops such as the Beckerturm, urban gardens, and various green oases in the middle of the city impressively demonstrate how economic development, vibrant city life, and biodiversity can be reconciled. The tour provides fascinating insights into the interaction between city and nature and brings the special role of St. Ingbert within the Bliesgau Biosphere to life.
At the end of the tour, participants can also look forward to a special surprise, which will not be revealed in advance.
The participation fee is 8 euros per person.
