The Saarbrücken FDP has decided on Roland König
The FDP district associations Saarbrücken City and Saarbrücken Country have compiled their list for the Saarbrücken constituency just under a year before the 2027 state election FDP.
Roland König was elected to the top of the list. The 60-year-old managing director, FDP district chairman of Saarbrücken-Stadt, and FDP parliamentary group leader in the regional assembly received 97 percent of the votes at the constituency representatives' meeting.
In second place, the assembly chose Alexander Heinz, the district chairman of the FDP Saarbrücken-Land. The 48-year-old raw materials purchaser from Riegelsberg is also a member of the Saarbrücken regional assembly.
Linda Drescher, a 28-year-old commercial employee from Saarbrücken, takes 3rd place on the constituency list. In 4th place is lawyer Petra Frevel, followed by cultural manager Dr. Klaus Kieser in 5th place.
Following in the subsequent list positions are Henning Michel (lawyer), Wendy Petereit (advisor at the IHK Saarland), and Patrick Leo (IT consultant).
The consistently high election results exceeding 90 percent underline the strong cohesion within the FDP at the start of the state election campaign in Saarland.
