The State Office for Road Construction (LfS) announces that the road construction work on Saarbrücker Straße will be continued in Fürstenhausen with the setup of traffic protection measures on 06.05.2026. From 08.05.2026 to 21.06.2026, a full closure will be established on the section of Saarbrücker Straße between house number 108 and 84 (at the height of Getränkevertrieb H. Müller). From the start of construction on 08.05.2026, no passage will be possible.
The properties are not accessible during this construction phase; residents must park before and after the construction site. Those affected have been informed. Access will be granted for fire department, emergency doctor, or police.
In addition to the currently established detour U2 via Hermann-Neuberger-Straße and L 163 back to L271, the detour U3 from Fürstenhausen via Karolingerbrücke through Völklingen, the B51 to Luisenthal and the L271 back towards Fenne, as well as the opposite direction U1, has been set up.
