The city administration of Völklingen invites interested seniors aged 60 and above to the senior cinema on May 19, 2026. The feature film "An Almost Perfect Proposal" will be shown at the Thalia Lichtspiele cinema in Bous.
The performance as well as the bus transfer are free of charge for the senior citizens from Völklingen. Ticket reservations can be made by phone on May 12th and 13th between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at 06898/13-4444. The offer is valid while supplies last.
The meeting point for the bus transfer is at 2:30 PM at the bus stop "Neues Rathaus," located in front of the bus depot of Stadtwerke Völklingen on Hohenzollernstraße. The bus will also return there after the performance.
The "Senior Cinema for Völklingen Residents" is supported by the Saarbrücken Regional Association. The Regional Association provides funds for this and similar events and projects to promote the social participation of seniors.
