Quierschied, June 13, 2025: The Victor’s Group is opening its seventh Saarland property: On the site above the former Knappschaft Clinic on Fischbacher Street, seniors can now live securely and comfortably in Victor’s Senior Living Park Quierschied. Recently completed, the impressive project, offering care of all levels and assisted living, is now being presented at a ceremonial opening.
„We are very pleased that such a modern facility is now enriching the Saarland care landscape,“ said Minister Magnus Jung, who gave a greeting speech at the opening. „That the former SHG site is once again a place for care, community, and support today shows how important reliable local structures are,“ emphasizes Regional Association Director Dr. Carolin Lehberger.
Mayor Lutz Maurer also describes that the senior living park in Quierschied will create not only urgently needed care places but also jobs.
Board member Susanne Kleehaas emphasizes the importance of good employees in nursing care. "I am pleased that we were able to hire a competent team that is already looking forward to the residents and the work."
Hartmut Ostermann, Chairman of the Board of the Victor’s Group, is particularly proud that seniors find extensive healthcare infrastructure nearby and can live independently and well cared for in the senior residential park.
Residence manager Armin Maurer added: "My team and I are already looking forward to showing the beautifully furnished model apartments to the general public during the open house day tomorrow, Saturday, 14.06., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The interest is high, and we are confident that we will be able to quickly bring our facility to life."
The modern, bright building, consisting of two independent sections for care and assisted living, offers excellent structural conditions. Complemented by a varied range of leisure activities and events, it creates ample space for social interaction. In the care section, a competent team provides long-term, short-term, and respite care in 98 single rooms.
Victor’s Senior Living Park in Quierschied offers a total of 150 stylish one- to three-room apartments for assisted living. There are smaller, medium, and large apartments available – each equipped with senior-friendly bathrooms with showers and toilets, as well as terraces or balconies. Some of the units are even wheelchair accessible.
The monthly fee already includes all additional costs, including 24-hour emergency call service or weekly apartment cleaning. In addition, residents of the building can also book services such as catering, delivery, janitorial, or cleaning services for an additional charge.
Quiet and yet central, that is how the house is situated. And anyone who wants to linger a bit or take a stroll will find beautiful paths around the senior residential park, a kiosk with seating areas, the restaurant "Altes Pförtnerhaus," and plenty of health infrastructure in the adjacent Medicus Health Center.
