In close cooperation with the "Early Help" department of the Health and Youth Office, the campaign was organized. The donations arrive just in time for the holidays and bring joy to many families.
The Heidebeat Festival attracts thousands of visitors to Schmelz every year. "For us, it is a heartfelt concern not only to organize a festival but also to actively support our community," explains Patrick Backes, 1st Chairman of the association "Local Move e.V.". "Especially during the Christmas season, we want to help make children's eyes light up and allow families going through difficult times to experience a bit of hope and joy."
The donations include a colorful selection of gifts ranging from classic toys to creative and educational sets. This variety ensures that there is a suitable gift for every age and taste.
Thanks to the great commitment of the association and the smooth cooperation with the "Early Help" services, the gifts will be distributed in the coming days – just in time to make children's hearts beat faster at Christmas.
Info about "Early Help":
The "Early Support" program in the Saarlouis district offers free counseling for parents with children aged 0-3 years. Experienced pediatric nurses and pediatricians are available to answer questions on topics such as infant care, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, nutrition, sleep problems, and child development. For uncertainties regarding parenting, the parental role, or family issues, the educational parental counseling service provides support. Counseling is provided by appointment over the phone, and in exceptional cases, as a home visit. Interested parties can find contact persons on the district's homepage: https://www.kreis-saarlouis.de/Fruehe-Hilfen.htm?
