On-site visit of the Bundestag member Esra Limbacher
A year ago, Roland Weber, at the initiative of Member of Parliament Esra Limbacher, met with representatives of Deutsche Bahn and the city of St. Ingbert to finally find a solution for the underpass, which was too dark. After it was determined that the underpass is owned by the city, measures were initiated and were completed on time for winter.
Esra Limbacher commented on this:
"Good lighting in the station underpass is an important step for the safety and enhancement of Rohrbach station. This shows that on-site effort pays off - thanks to everyone involved. More must now follow. Therefore, I am in talks with Deutsche Bahn to make the station accessible for people with disabilities. We also need a visual upgrade of the building, which has been affected by vandalism."
During an on-site meeting, further concerns regarding the Rohrbach train station were discussed. Member of the Bundestag Esra Limbacher engaged in discussions with the current local head Martin Biedermann as well as representatives of the city administration about important topics such as cleanliness, accessibility, and the accessibility of the train station by rail.
Local head Biedermann took the opportunity to point out the need for improved rail connections at the Rohrbach stop and to suggest further measures to enhance the station. The exchange will continue in order to jointly find solutions for the concerns of the citizens and travelers. Esra Limbacher assured that he will continue to maintain contact with Deutsche Bahn to improve the situation at Rohrbach station.
