Under the motto "Now sing and be glad," the Protestant Church Congregation Saarbrücken-Mitte invites everyone who loves to raise their voice to join in.
District cantor Ulrich Seibert sings many well-known and popular Christian Advent and Christmas carols with the visitors – from “Macht hoch die Tür” to “Es ist ein Ros‘ entsprungen” to “Stern über Bethlehem.” Pastor Thomas Bergholz guides the program, telling stories and anecdotes about the songs and their origins. The singers are musically accompanied by the Abteier brass ensemble from Hermeskeil and by cantor Seibert on the organ. “I hope for many singers who will together bring a festive pre-Christmas atmosphere into the Ludwig Church,” says Seibert.
