Due to the predominantly dry winter weather, the market was very well attended this year. Many regional music clubs performed on the stage in the town hall courtyard, and band performances created a great atmosphere.
The „Heilig-Morgen-Party“ will take place on Tuesday, December 24th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For a small donation, there will once again be a Crémant bar in support of the campaign „Heilig Abend allein – das muss nicht sein“ (Christmas Eve alone – it doesn’t have to be) by the Protestant parish of Merzig. The event will be musically accompanied by the band „Nino meets Angelo“. Around 1:30 p.m., „Markus Becker“ will visit the Heilig-Morgen-Party and present his children’s anthem „Wir waren alle einmal Kinder“, the official title song of this year’s RTL fundraising marathon.
