It is a montage of singing, music, recitations, and a video installation. The singer Amei Scheib performs her own settings of poems, including those by Theresa Mirga, Rose Alexander, Margaret Atwood, Ceija Stojka, May Anin, and Gertrud Kolmar.
Poems by Hilde Domin, Selma Meerbaum-Eisinger, Dagamar Nick, and Elisabeth Borchers unfold their impact in Helga Diener's recitations.
The pianist Marina Kavtaradze and the flutist Meta Poppelreiter perform instrumental pieces by the composers Grazyna Bacewicz and Ruth Schonthal.
The video installation by the artist Maja Andrack Sokolova complements music and texts with its own visual expressive dimension.
The question is raised about our connection to these female artists of the past. Where do we stand today, and how can we act effectively in the face of rising right-wing extremism and hostility towards humanity?
