The Caritas Academy for Health Professions Saar is a nursing school and continuing education institution for nursing professions in Saarland and, as such, an important contact point for theoretical training as well as advanced and continuing education in nursing professions for over 100 training partner companies.
Under the title "Care is colorful – make a CARIer" and under the patronage of Minister Dr. Magnus Jung, the Care and Career Fair of the Caritas Academy will take place on 05.12.2024.
At more than 30 booths, trainees and employees of the academy, together with external exhibitors, provide information about training, fields of activity, and career opportunities in nursing. Another key topic is nursing in the international context. Highlights of the event include, in addition to many tasting and participation activities, a panel discussion as well as two keynote speeches.
Under the title of the panel discussion "and who will take care of me?", experts and caregivers discuss the future and internationalization of nursing (training) in Germany. Additionally, our keynote speakers inform the professional audience about the possibilities of recruiting, integrating, and training foreign specialists and trainees.
At 10:00 AM, the doors of the Stadthalle Merzig open for visitors to the care fair of the Caritas Academy for Health Professions Saar gGmbH. Interested professionals and laypeople are invited to attend the fair. Admission is free.
