GlasBlasSing is a Berlin-based band that has been creatively and originally using bottles as versatile musical instruments since 2003. The musicians have dedicated themselves to so-called "bottle music" and present their songs with a mix of humor and creativity. They have developed a wide range of bottle instruments on which they play both modern hits and classics. Their shows are a combination of comedy, music, and environmental awareness that continually delights their audience.
When bottle musicians feel festive, it certainly doesn’t sound like Aberheidschibumbeidschi by calm and motionless lakes. Instead, you get "Kling, Glöckchen, klingelingeling" on the Jägermeister xylophone, "Parapapampam" on the water cooler djembe, or "Tätärätätä" on the green 0.33 liter longneck bottle from the beverage market next door. Sometimes mouth-blown, sometimes hand-crafted, one twisted holiday tune follows another, bringing fresh energy to classic Advent songs. In between, plenty of bottle music evergreens are gifted. What exactly creates this very special mood during Advent and the holidays? The traditions and customs? The gifts along with the challenges of obtaining them? The short and cold December days? Or in the end, the thoughts of loved ones? GlasBlasSing has come up with the most impossible answers to all these questions and paired them with plenty of inappropriate melodies. And if you’re still missing high-quality Christmas presents, you can join the special bottle music Christmas song memory game and win some for yourself.
