The sports center is the first sports facility in Saarland to feature both state-of-the-art football fields and the region's only indoor padel courts.
On this special occasion, Mayor Marc Speicher was personally on site together with the head of the Office for Family, Social Affairs, Schools and Sports, Alexander Guß, and the sports officer, Tim Osbild. During his visit, Mayor Speicher emphasized that Saarlouis is already an established sports and leisure location and that such innovative offers represent an added value for all citizens within the framework of the sports city.
The team at the Arena has set itself the goal of making the Arena a place of community and sporting encounters. To achieve this goal, the Arena offers a variety of courses and events, including taster courses, special events, as well as professional football and paddle schools with licensed trainers.
The new, top-class football fields are equipped with a modern LED lighting system that provides bright and pleasant illumination – ensuring the best visibility at all times! In addition to the football field, the padel offering is also impressive, a dynamic sport that combines elements of tennis and squash and is becoming increasingly popular in Europe.
Thanks to a fully automated online booking system, guests can decide for themselves when they want to play – completely flexible and without fixed opening hours. For breaks and socializing, the "Nachspielzeit" lounge with drink and snack vending machines is available. Of course, modern changing rooms and showers are also provided to ensure all players feel completely comfortable.
