The calendar includes all collection dates at a glance: for residual waste, organic waste, and paper as well as for the yellow bin.
Managing Director Kevin Hewer asks the citizens of Völklingen to keep the waste calendar carefully in order to be able to look up collection dates for the individual waste fractions at any time. The waste calendar also includes holiday schedule adjustments, dates for the eco-mobile, opening hours of the recycling center and the green waste collection point, information on bulky waste collection, as well as container locations for glass and paper in Völklingen.
It is also possible to create an individual waste collection calendar for the year 2025 online at www.ezv-vk.de starting from 07.12.2024.
For organizational reasons, the EZV had to change some collection areas. However, this only affects individual collections of two-wheeled residual and organic waste containers.
