Parking facilities have been created at key destinations and sources of everyday bicycle traffic. These include, for example, shopping centers, town halls, the central bus station, as well as public squares in the inner-city area. The new "bicycle parking spaces" significantly enhance the cycling network within the city – because in addition to the infrastructure for flowing bicycle traffic, safe and comfortable parking options also promote bicycle usage.
The new parking spaces have been equipped exclusively with bicycle stands, as these provide stable support and theft protection through good locking options.
Additionally, a green bicycle garage, the “Radhaus am Rathaus,” was built at the Püttlingen Town Hall. It is also publicly accessible:
The garage is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Visitors and employees of the Püttlingen Center are welcome to park their bicycles here protected from the weather. On weekends and after 6:30 p.m., the garage is closed for reasons of vandalism.

The costs for the measures amounting to a total of approximately €62,500.00 are funded at 90% through the NMOB City and Country funding program.
The construction work was completed at the beginning of October 2024.
In another state program (NMOB – Cycling), grants were applied for additional storage facilities at educational and recreational institutions. A funding commitment is still pending here.
