The person is to act, among other things, as a contact person for children and young people and their concerns. They work as an advocate and present the concerns of children and young people to the relevant authorities. Additionally, they cooperate with the city administration as well as the clubs and institutions that support children and young people.
The incorporation of children’s and youth interests into the specialist committees of the city council, as well as influencing urban planning projects from the perspective of children and young people, form the core of the activities.
The expert representation for children and adolescents should act confidently and communicatively and requires a high level of social competence to carry out its tasks.
She must demonstrate experience in child and youth work or in educational and teaching work, as well as in dealing with young people.
The appointment is for the duration of the city council's term until 2029.
