The Saarland also participates with a diverse program.

The partner network of the Saarland Offensive for Start-ups (SOG), coordinated by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Digital Affairs and Energy, offers a wide range of workshops, lectures, and networking events as part of Start-up Week. The events are aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs as well as established companies looking to develop further or experiment with new business models.

Entrepreneurship is the engine of every modern economy. Founders create jobs, drive innovation, and ensure the competitiveness of an economic location. For Saarland, promoting startups and supporting founders is of central importance to continue succeeding in a globalized and digitalized economy in the future.

Minister of Economic Affairs Jürgen Barke

The nationwide Start-up Week aims to provide founders with the necessary tools to realize their business ideas.
