Saarwellingen-Reisbach (ots)
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, at around 10:05 a.m., there was a danger and coercion in road traffic in Reisbach, Am Matzenberg, L 306. A black Audi with an SLS district license plate was driving on the L 306 from Reisbach towards Obersalbach-Kurhof. Shortly after the junction to Höhenstraße, the Audi overtook a vehicle in front despite oncoming traffic. To avoid colliding with an oncoming vehicle, the Audi driver merged back in so closely in front of the injured party (the vehicle being overtaken) that they had to swerve onto the grass verge to prevent an accident. The Audi then continued in the direction of Heusweiler. The incident was witnessed by several road users.
The Lebach police are looking for witnesses.
