It is the most modern and innovative vehicle of its kind in Germany. The vehicle offers space for six donors. Up to twelve people can donate blood in one hour. The truck, with its 14-meter length, is still very new and features movable elements that can expand the interior area to a total of 47 square meters.
The blood donation drive will take place on April 17, 2023, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the Landweiler-Reden train station and is organized by the DRK local association Landweiler-Reden in cooperation with GUBSE AG. GUBSE AG is headquartered in Schiffweiler, employs around 245 people worldwide, and operates internationally as a provider of a modular hotel management software system.
In addition to the blood donation campaign, the DKMS will also be on site and will set up a tent. Even those under 40 who cannot donate blood have the opportunity to register there to be available as donors for bone marrow or stem cells.
The blood donation campaign is a great opportunity for people to contribute to the health of others and save lives.
