The district town of Neunkirchen invites you on April 2nd, together with its retailers and restaurateurs, to the Neunkirchen Spring with a Sunday shopping event. Visitors can look forward to a colorful, diverse, and varied program in Neunkirchen city center.

Neunkirchen offers musical delights, interesting exhibitors, a creative market, and all sorts of activities that provide plenty of fun and entertainment. In addition, the retailers in over 150 shops, which will be open from
1 pm to 6 pm, are looking forward to presenting the freshly unpacked spring collections.

Musical treats of the highest class
At exactly 1 p.m., the stage program on Stummplatz begins with Saarland’s top act “Elliot.“ Elliot presents a varied program at their concerts with a wide musical range from well-known hits of the New German Wave to rock and pop classics and songs from the current charts.

As another highlight, the small formation of the New Orleans Express will present itself from 1 p.m. within the creative market on Bahnhofstraße. Under this name, musicians have come together who passionately play Dixieland in its purest form. All band members have many years of diverse musical experience.

At Lübbener Platz, dance workshops and the Torino Reinhardt Ensemble will provide a lively atmosphere. Torino comes from the famous Reinhardt musician family. As the youngest son of Schnuckenack Reinhardt and grandnephew of the legendary Django Reinhardt, he continues the musical tradition of his family, together with his brother Forello, in order to keep the worldwide enthusiasm for Sinti Jazz (Jazz Manouche) alive.

The exhibitors – right in the thick of it, not just participating
Neunkircher Frühling once again means exhibition spring this year: In addition to clubs and non-profit organizations, many other exhibitors also present the latest trends of the season.

The Climate Project Neunkirchen provides information on photovoltaic systems and financing.
At KEW's mobile water bar, there are small and free refreshments with Neunkirchen water, while Energieberatung Saar offers consulting services such as the electricity saving check.

At the Fairtrade booth of the Neunkirchen district, among others, speakers from the "Fairtrade Initiative Saarland" demonstrate that Fairtrade does not necessarily have to be expensive. In addition to an interactive quiz and a guessing game, products from the student company of the GGSNK as well as fair Easter products can also be purchased.

The Neunkirchen City Center Citizens' Initiative e.V. (BiNS) will be represented with the outdoor repair café and the International Cooking Women. Wolfgang Lang will offer an artistic hands-on activity for children: gluing mosaic pieces. The repairers bring their tools with them and are happy to demonstrate their skills. The cooking women will prepare coffee and cake.

The Kinderhaus Neunkirchen, the educational assistant within the framework of the project "SABiNe" (Strengthening the Autonomy of Disadvantaged People in Neunkirchen) Miroslava Ilieva, and the Neunkirchen neighborhood meeting point will be represented for the first time at the Neunkircher Frühling with a joint stand. A tactile path for children completes the offer here.

The Bee-MINT children from the Gymnasium am Steinwald present themselves with a great interactive station. Here, interested children and adults can roll their own candle using beeswax for a small contribution. The honey sale on site sweetens the offer from the dedicated students.

TV Wellesweiler presents itself with its departments: From the "Hula-Hoop crash course" to short coordination exercises for young and old, there is something for everyone. The likeable campaign "Cuddly Toy for Club Coins" benefits the club's children and youth work.

At their information booth at the Neunkirchen Spring event, KISS (Contact and Information Center for Self-Help in Saarland) offers information and personal advice about the work of the Saarland self-help support center and the approximately 650 active self-help groups and organizations in Saarland. The activities and projects in the Neunkirchen district are specifically presented, with a focus on the offers for the citizens from the district.

The Eckersberger Schützengilde 1853 e.V. is also present at Stummplatz and is launching its sports promotion month April there. With the campaign "Join the Club," trial training sessions are offered in the disciplines of boules and blowgun. In addition, the German Olympic Sports Confederation provides a subsidy for the membership fee as an incentive to participate in sports within a club.

Other exhibitors are: Neunkirchen Zoo, mobisaar, NVG, Prießnitz-Kneipp Association NK e.V., Kutscherhaus Association, Free Voters Association Neunkirchen e.V., Yoga Annika Finkler, Freeman Farm, Women's Representative of the District Town Neunkirchen, Historical Association, ASB OV NK e.V., Carnival Club Die Daaler e.V., Roob Coffee Bar, Créperie Pagliarucci, Zeisweiler Burger Grill, Food Truck Tuduk, Vino Bar Wagner, Gourmet Grill Büsgen, Kneipp Association Spiesen.

Fun & Entertainment for Young and Old
Plenty of fun and entertainment will also be offered to the youngest visitors of the Neunkirchen Spring on April 2nd. This year, the little ones can look forward to great interactive and play activities at several stations.

The enchanting flower creatures will once again stroll on stilts across the entire event grounds this year. With a wink and a kind word, they bring lots of good cheer to both young and old. Wonderful surprises are also planned here for the little ones.

At Lübbener Square, THW and the Neunkirchen Volunteer Fire Department promote their activities within a blue light area.

The Kutscherhaus Association also offers a diverse program:
- HIP-HOP to dance along with multiple German champion Leo Nguyen
2:00 to 2:45 PM at the theater trailer of the Kutscherhaus Association

- Saraa Ghazouli turns the youngest guests into artists and crafts great beaded bracelets & necklaces together with the children. Additionally, painting on small canvases is offered. 3 to 5 pm (materials are provided free of charge).

- Sinti jazz to sing along with the Torino Reinhardt Ensemble
5 to 6 pm at the theater construction trailer of the Kutscherhaus Association

Creative Market on Bahnhofstraße
With particularly beautiful crafts and handicrafts, Bahnhofstraße welcomes visitors this Sunday. Thanks to numerous original exhibitors, the creative market is taking place for the first time on Bahnhofstraße. They offer a lavish range of individual and unique gifts, handicrafts, and decorative items with great attention to detail.

The hobby artists around Höcherberg alone present 14 stalls within the market. The purpose of the association is to promote all kinds of arts and crafts. This is achieved through organizing hobby artist markets, crafting activities with adults and children, and changing fundraising campaigns for charitable purposes.

Also represented will be the Ottweiler veteran and operator of the local craftsmen's courtyard, Horst Philippi, whose passion is artistic carpentry and particularly the artistic design and handcrafted creation of marquetry (wood inlay work).

From woodworking, floral decoration, ceramics, jewelry and sewing work to plotter work, the market offers everything the heart desires.
