The officers encountered a 37-year-old man from Rhineland-Palatinate there, who was standing with his damaged Ford Focus on Weiherberg Street. The person was identified as the driver of the vehicle. Since a strong smell of alcohol was also detected, a blood sample had to be taken and the driver's license was confiscated. The vehicle was significantly damaged on the front left side (front bumper and wheel). However, no accident site has been assigned so far. It is possible that plastic parts of the vehicle are still found at the accident site.
