Numerous Police and Fire Department Operations in the PI Nordsaarland Service Area Due to Strong Storm Gusts

On Friday, 10.03.2023, there were numerous operations for the police and fire brigade throughout the entire service area of the Nordsaarland police station (city of Wadern, municipalities of Weiskirchen, Losheim am See, Nonnweiler, and Nohfelden) due to strong storm gusts. Several trees broke and had to be removed from the roadway, signs and other objects were blown into traffic. The police were able to promptly cordon off the respective areas in all cases, and the fire brigade and public works departments were able to make the roads passable again. Fortunately, there were no personal injuries or major property damage.
