On Friday morning, Prime Minister Anke Rehlinger and Minister of Economic Affairs Jürgen Barke met with Mr. Yang at the Saarland State Chancellery to discuss the SVOLT settlement in Saarland with the planned locations in Heusweiler and Überherrn. "SVOLT is committed to settling in Saarland. The planned factory is a great opportunity for our country in structural change," explained Rehlinger and Barke.
Following this, Minister of Economic Affairs Barke and State Secretary Yorgova-Ramanauskas accompanied Mr. Yang on a tour of the Linsler Feld and to another appointment at the municipal administration of Überherrn.
They were welcomed here by Mayor Anne Yliniva-Hoffmann, representatives of the factions represented in the municipal council, and the local heads from Überherrn and Wohnstadt. The meeting was important and appropriate for both sides. "This visit sets a sign for the further progress of the process here with us in Überherrn," said the mayor.
